Refund & Returns Policy – Bolitho Studio
At Bolitho Studio, we take pride in the craftsmanship of our menswear. Our policies are designed to be fair and transparent, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
2. Change of Mind Returns
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind (e.g., preference for a different colour, size, or style), we offer a Store Credit or Exchange, provided that:

The item is returned within 30 days of purchase.

The item is in its original condition: unworn, unwashed, and unused.

All original tags and packaging are intact.

You provide a valid proof of purchase (order number/receipt).
Note: Under Australian Law, we are not required to provide a refund if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection.
3. Faulty Items & Major Failures
If a garment has a manufacturing fault or does not match the description provided, please contact us at costumer@bolithostudio.store immediately.

Major Failure: If the item has a serious defect (e.g., it is unsafe, significantly different from the sample, or cannot be fixed easily), you can choose between a full refund or a replacement.

Minor Failure: If the fault is minor, we will, at our discretion, repair the item, replace it, or offer a refund.
4. Return Shipping

Faulty Items: Bolitho Studio will cover the cost of return shipping if the item is deemed faulty under the ACL.

Change of Mind: The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
5. Exclusions
Please note that we cannot offer returns or exchanges on:

Items damaged by misuse or failure to follow care instructions (e.g., incorrect laundering of linen or wool).

Made-to-measure or custom-tailored garments (unless faulty).

Items purchased at a final "Clearance" sale (unless faulty).
6. How to Start a Return

Contact our team at costumer@bolithostudio.store with your order details.

Once your return is authorised, you will receive a Return Authorisation (RA) number and the shipping address for our Melbourne atelier.

Once received, your return will be processed within 5-7 business days.
